Abstract
dc:description.abstractWidespread adoption of mobile phone-based innovative interventions hinge on clear guidelines and standards being established on how such programmes should be designed and implemented to promote high impact levels. This report is a formative evaluation of RedChatZone, a pilot instant messaging-based programme implemented in 2009 to provide an HIV and AIDS helpline via Mxit, an instant messaging platform.
