Investigation of the characteristics of kenaf fibre reinforced polypropylene composites
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis research work focus on the characterisation of the mechanical and thermal properties of kenaf fibre reinforced polypropylene composites. The composites were fabricated by extrusion followed by injection and compression moulding. The effects of fibre content, coupling agent content (MAPP), different types of moulding processes and addition of filler materials (kenaf core) were observed through mechanical, thermal and microscopic testing.
