Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe research question examines how conceptual and contextual problems affect the measurement validity of policies directed at Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in South Africa. This study looks at the definition of concepts used in policies directed at OVC in South Africa and to what extente these concepts lend themselves measurement. The research focused on two specific concepts related to OVC policy: 'OVC' and 'stigma'.
