Options for Health is an evidence-based intervention for reducing sexual risk behaviour among people living with HIV. Options has been proposed as a feasible strategy for integrating HIV prevention with care and supporting adherence to antiretroviral treatment in the public healthcare sector in the Western Cape. To determine the feasibility of this intervention for strengthening the antiretroviral adherence counselling programme delivered by lay counsellors in Western Cape clinics.
