Principals : an assessment of the correlation between leadership and management at socio-economically disadvantaged schools in the Western Cape
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe central hypothesis of this dissertation is that there is a strong correlation between leadership, management and thriving socio-economically disadvantaged schools in the Western Cape. This study is a case study of 15 schools in mostly socio-economically disadvantaged areas of the Western Cape. This was a qualitative study that included a combination of field work, interviews, literature and document reviews and desktop analysis.
