The first paper address a critical gap in prior literature of hedge fund board of directors, an emerging topic of importance in hedge fund governance literature. We study investor reaction to removal of independent and jumbo directors in hedge fund board of directors. The second paper investigates the impact of the Dodd–Frank Act (DFA) on the investor fund flow of US-based medium-sized hedge fund advisers (MSA).
