Le 'Chiose Cagliaritane' alla 'Commedia': edizione critica e commento
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe thesis consists of a critical and annotated edition of the Chiose Cagliaritane on the Commedia, a set of anonymous vernacular glosses on Dante’s poem, transmitted exclusively by manuscript 76 of the University Library of Cagliari, produced toward the end of the 14th century by an author from eastern Tuscany. In addition to preparing a new critical text that can surpass the commendable edition prepared by Enrico Carrara in 1902, the thesis aims to explore the relationships between the Chiose Cagliaritane and other early Dantean commentators, in order to identify its most original and innovative contributions.
