Le "carte" del convento di San Martino di Oristano

The thesis want to reconstruct - at least in virtual form - the archive of St Martin’s Convent from Oristano and, through it, to reconstruct its history. Nonexistent archive at those institutions that would have inherited it has directed research at all religious and secular institutions, which with the same convent had relationships over the centuries. The large number of archival funds I should have consulted led me to establish a chronological search for archaeological finds: I chose to start the study from the earliest documents of the Cenobio, until the middle of the XVII century, which caused the plague that we Island, marked an important break for the life of the convent. The thesis collects 260 documents in a chronological period from 1228 to 1656, to which further 14 significant documents dating back to 1836, with a total of 274 documents added.
