Se estudió la actividad catalítica de estos complejos en reacciones de hidrogenación / deshidrogenación de iminas a aminas secundarias. Otra de las aplicaciones estudiadas dio lugar a la caracterización como dosímetro para la detección selectiva de mercurio y de metilmercurio de uno de nuestros complejos. La segunda parte de esta Tesis Doctoral se centra, principalmente, en la investigación y desarrollo de catalizadores, necesarios para el almacenamiento y obtención de hidrógeno a bordo de un vehículo, a partir de disoluciones acuosas de NaBH4, el cual es un método seguro para la liberación de hidrógeno de manera controlable, y una alternativa en el uso de sistemas de almacenamiento sólido. _____________________ In the first part of this Doctoral Thesis, complexes of palladium (II) with P,N-donor ligands are synthesized and characterized. Theligands are able to act as bi- and/or tri-chelating, where there is applied the basic chemistry developed in the group of investigation AMIDO. The catalytic activity of these complexes in reactions of hidrogenation/dehydrogenation of imines to secondary amines was studied. One of the synthetized complexes displayed excelent properties as chemodosimeter for the selective naked-eye detection of mercury and metil mercury in acqueous solution. The second part of this Doctoral Thesis focuses on the research and development of catalysts for the hydrogen production from water solutions of NaBH4.
