There are not yet any studies of workplace microaggressions at human service organizations, which are based in professions that have a responsibility to foster environments conducive to providing equitable services. Further research is needed about the effects of microaggressions experienced by employees of human service organizations in order to acknowledge and address subtle workplace discrimination (Holder, Jackson, & Ponterotto, 2015).
