Each of the five instruments occupies its own language of time — inimical to one another, there is no score as such, as it is impossible to collect all into a single page. This document collects together the Codex and Indices for Guitar, Trombone, Bass, Saxophone, and Clarinet. The former is a thorough set of performance instructions, and the nearest thing to a score which this music can sustain. The latter are musical surface materials to be disentangled, read, and rendered in performance by the individual musicians. In order to meet the current needs, some adjustments and modifications have been made: the Codex has been expanded from 9x7 to letter size paper, while the trombone and guitar indices have been shrunk from legal and tabloid sized paper, respectively. The indices, always landscape, have been rotated. Pages are numbered both continuously and individually.","**To request an accessible version of the file(s) associated with this item, contact library@buffalo.edu.
