Specifically, it explores issues in opera management. In particular, it examines a clearly identified understanding of the ​opera canon​ as one of the key issues for the opera managers today in their struggles to overcome the communication issues of the opera performance. The contemporary opera audience has different demands regarding the perception of the operatic show.
