There, the detector collected 35.9^(-1) of data from proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. This analysis uses events containing two leptons, specifically a combination of electrons and muons, jets, and missing transverse momentum. Since heavy resonances are expected, the pairs carry a large amount of energy, and hence highly Lorentz-boosted top quarks produce collimated decay products. This presents difficulties, as the lepton and jet from top decays are close together and not isolated in this high energy regime. I study the kinematic properties of the resulting jets, leptons, and missing tranverse momentum to maximize sensitivity for signal detection. I base this exotic search on Kaluza-Klein gluons from the Randall-Sundrum I model and leptophobic bosons from the Topcolor model. No excess in data over Standard Model expectations is observed.","**To request an accessible version of the file(s) associated with this item, contact library@buffalo.edu.
