CFD analysis on a flat plate airfoil is performed to study the transient flapping wing flight under prescribed forward velocity where the flow conditions are in the range of Re: O(10^{4}-10^{5}). The aerodynamic model is to be coupled with a flight dynamics model and later optimized with particle swarm optimization(PSO). This optimization constrained with the allowable band in the Z-direction and minimum X-direction position. The dynamic model needs unknown, which obtained with surrogate model techniques.
