A sample of 116 substance abuse treatment clinicians responded to a 25-item instrument that was developed to investigate knowledge and competence of emerging substance abuse interventions including psychopharmacology, genomics, and neuroimaging. Participants were also requested to indicate the number of continuing education training hours provided through their employed organizations within the last two years, as well as opinions and recommendations for future training.
