Waiting Room

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

The short stories and essays in this hybrid creative collection, Waiting Room, aim to add to critical conversations in both creative nonfiction and fiction about identity in relation to physical places and the body. In this collection, I particularly explore how notions of “home” shape one’s identity: grief, mental/physical illness, displacement from home, and other topics pertaining to the body and physicality.
