Taking this scenario into account, the aim of this work is to structure, apply and evaluate the contributions of the RESET project to the reuse of electronic waste in a state public school in Rio Grande do Norte. The study is therefore descriptive and exploratory in nature, as it seeks to identify how this practice contributes to the teaching and learning process. For the descriptive and exploratory research, based on qualitative approaches, observation procedures were used through interviews, questionnaires and forms, in order to arrive at the final product: prototypes made by the students and mediated by the teacher. The discussion on solid waste and electrical and electronic waste has advanced with the National Solid Waste Policy (Law No. 12.305/2010), since this law will separate and make governments, companies and citizens responsible for disposing of environmentally appropriate waste and residues. In this discursive area, it is observed that the work carried out using technology and sustainability through the use of electronic waste, enabled the generation of physical materials (prototypes) produced by the students and their understanding of the recycling process and the importance of reuse and correct disposal for environmental sustainability, while the teachers reiterate that the RESET project is an excellent multidisciplinary teaching initiative. The results of this research are also shown in the analysis of the results and discussion, and the creation of a website, which is considered to be the final product available to anyone wishing to learn more about the object of study, including targeted information about the project. It should be noted that this research is relevant and innovative, and is focused on the area of educational technologies, in others words, it is directly connected to the postgraduate program at UFRN.","abstract_html":"In the face of technological advances and the wide range of electronics on offer, they are becoming increasingly obsolete every day, thus increasing the amount of electronic waste.
