A ditadura militar através das imagens do livro didático de História do 3º ano do ensino médio

We present a study on the use of images about the civil-military dictatorship in Brazil present in the textbook adopted in the 3rd year of high school by the Professor Antônio Aladim de Araújo State School, in the city of Caicó-RN. We take the images that illustrate the theme in the History textbook from the História, Sociedade & Cidadania collection, authored by Alfredo Boulos Junior, as a source and instrument that is complemented by association with other images: journalistic photography and the memory traces of the student movement experienced at school. Here, we present proposals that aim to contribute to the construction of historical knowledge in the classroom based on the role of students in carrying out analyzes and interpretations of images of the civil-military dictatorship in Brazil. As a culmination of the workshops, a memory game was created, made of PVC material, using syntheses built by students around images of the military dictatorship in Brazil and at school. As a didactic product, at the end of this research, we present a proposal for a memory game to be developed with our students.
