According to the Brazilian Society of Nephrology (2012), 97.586 million patients are on dialysis, and 63.6% are between 19 and 65 years and 57.7% were female.The present study had as main objective to promote the formation of a group of patients on dialysis, where questions about diet were problematized in the context of collective action through education nutricional.Trata is an experimental quantitative study with 4 related convenience for patients of both sexes the educational program consisted of 12 sessions, which were given 3 months to determine the effectiveness of nutrition education project, patients were evaluated at the beginning of each month through biochemical tests such as Urea pre and post , phosphorus, calcium, potassium, Kt / v weight gain between dialyses markers that are recommended by the National Kidney Foundation Guidelines hemodialysis, and anthropometric measures. Inclusion criteria were patients aged 18 years or older, undergoing hemodialysis therapy for more than 6 months, doing three sessions a week and how Exclusion criteria were considered connective problems, psychiatric disorder, patients with disease active inflammatory or infectious and pregnant women.
