Educação ambiental no âmbito escolar: práticas e desafios sob o olhar docente.

The choice of research topic with the Environmental Education brings the need to acquire knowledge and information from the school so that they can develop an appropriate and consistent work with the students. By the very nature of environmental issues, the acquisition of subsidies on the subject is a constant need for everyone. This does not mean that teachers should "know everything" so that they can develop a good methodology, but rather what should be willing to learn about the issues and, more than that, to convey to his students the notion that the process construction and production of knowledge is constant. Environmental education should be developed to help students build a global awareness of environmental issues. The content on Environment will be integrated into the curriculum through interdisciplinary, they will be treated in various fields of knowledge. The environmental perspective also offers tools for the student to understand the issues that affect your life, your community, your country and the planet. In this sense, the situations should be organized to provide opportunities for the student to use the knowledge about the environment as a tool for changing your reality and act on it.
