O uso e ocupação do solo e a qualidade da água da bacia hidrográfica do Rio Miriri - PB.
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe integrated studies of the elements that make up the landscape or studies Geosystems are paramount importance to understand the process and thus bring forms of appropriate management for the area you want study. This work completion of course is linked to Project Initiation Volunteer (PIVIC) Federal University of Paraiba – UFPB and has the general objective discuss the use and land cover and water quality of the watershed of the Miriri River – PB. The Miriri river basin is located the North coast of the Paraiba State, in Mesoregion in the Forest Zone. It is a perennial river and inserts between the mains watershed of Paraiba Sate. The methodology, was performed a brief characterization noon physical and human bowl, mapping the use and land cover, slope of the watershed, interpreting data water quality concerning the two stations located the lower course bowl and site visits. The use and land cover showed a region where plantations occupied largely watershed. The parameters of the water quality showed oscillations especially for the parameters OD and CT in many annual averages are nonconforming what is established in Resolution CONAMA 357 March 2005 giving indicative a water little oxygenated, with higher amounts organic matter that can lead in mortality several living beings living in the aquatic environment, beyond contamination of terrestrial animals and human by direct contact and/or indirect with feature.
