Sequência didática do conteúdo de funções: o uso da calculadora e do computador.

The research deals with the use of technology (calculator and computer) as elements that facilitate and contextualize teaching functions. The genesis of our idea of research was nurtured by the experience discipline Supervised IV, offered by the Federal University of Paraíba, Distance Learning mode. To develop our work, which aims to suggest a teaching sequence involving the use of a calculator and mathematical software to facilitate understanding of the concept of functions. Initially a literature review of qualitative approach accompanied by a descriptive survey was taken. Among the many authors, include Rivers (2005), Miranda (2002), Bastos (1998) and Borges (1998) as a theoretical support for our arguments. Once submitted our Teaching Sequence, we weave our final remarks with suggestions for referrals for further research.
