A utilização de jogos na matemática do ensino fundamental: caso do Cubra Doze.

This study was conducted at the Municipal Escola Mestre Mandú in the City of Diamante backlands of Paraiba from April 2014. Aiming to understand the use of educational games in teaching math concepts launched in seeking evidenciarmos this reality in the room classroom . Thus , we chose a group of 6th grade of elementary school to a public school located in the municipality of Itaporanga , Paraíba apply to some activities that would enable us to better understand the didactic application of mathematical games in education . For this we adopted as the main theoretical: Smole, Diniz and Milani (2007 ) Rêgo and Rêgo (2004 ) Almeida (2003 ) among others, and official documents: Brazil (1997 , 1998 ) and the Referenciais curriculares do ensino fundamental do estado da Paraíba (2010 ). Thus, the survey was conducted in April 2014 with 16 students participating counting. We adopted a descriptive research methodology study as the purpose of the study, being characterized as an action research as the acquisition and processing of data. Used as the main research instrument semiestruturas questionnaires and observations made by researchers throughout the study. We conducted a pretest, individually, with the subject in order to characterize them with respect to the listing and prior knowledge about the basic operations ( ideas to add, subtract , multiply and divide ). The pre-test consisted of a questionnaire containing eight items . Then apply the cubra doze match in order to track the cognitive, emotional and social behavior of the participants. At the end of the study found that the use of games, especially in this case, in the educational context was a teaching resource of fundamental importance for problem solving and discussion of mathematics. Students participated effectively in all stages of research, showing interested and challenged, improving your attention, concentration, logical thinking and action planning.
