Contribuição do Geogebra na Aprendizagem Matemática: considerações metodológicas Lucena-PB.

This work aimed to research about the knowledge that public school teachers in the county of Lucena – PB about Geogebra and, in this way, suggest how to use it in Mathematics classes. Teachers of 6th grade of elementary school were searched because we believe that students in early learning geometry earn better income in future activities, in addition, nowadays, technology surrounds us in every direction, and we want to use it to benefit our students with a more meaningful learning. We support our study on researchers who advocate the use of technological resources in the classroom as Borba and Penteado (2005), Valente (2002) and Turunen (2001), moreover, the geometry is a study for the understanding of the world in some, defended by PCN (BRAZIL, 1998). Our research concluded that teachers, although they have grade in Mathematics and experience in the classroom, they unaware the use of Geogebra in activities related to elementary school. Additionally, government representatives also do not contribute to a quality of the equipment in schools surveyed, nor adequate training programs for teachers of the aforementioned municipality.
