O cálculo da área de figuras planas no ensino fundamental: uma proposta de ensino com o Tangram.

The calculation of the area of plane figures is a task with which any Elementary Students have encountered. And as a result of the difficulty in this content, the majority of students on this level reaches a yield lower than expected. For this problem to be solved, it is necessary that teachers seek to innovate teaching, allowing students to meaningful learning. In this work, we developed a teaching proposal, based on the tangram, shortly after the exhibition of the formulas for calculating the area of plane figures. With this, the teacher will have a tool that will facilitate the students' understanding about the concept of area.
