Mapeamento temporal do uso e ocupação do solo e estimativa das perdas de solo na bacia do reservatório de marés - PB.

For centuries many have caused major erosion of soil degradation in the world besides endangering the population, destroying homes and public facilities causing damage social, economic and environmental. The natural and anthropogenic environments exert a great influence on the use and occupation of land, they can instill their "change" and geomorphological formation, directly affecting the quality and productivity of the same. This work aimed to investigate the influence of comparative use and occupation of land in the municipality Tidal Basin, Santa Rita and Bayeux, which are part of the metropolitan area called Grande Joao Pessoa in Paraiba State. PB. The overall objective was to analyze the influence and impact of urban growth in the basin between the time intervals (1974 and 2012) in recent years in the Basin Reservoir Tides. To observe this effect, we carried out a correlation analysis of the percentage of the use and occupation of land, whose data were collected between the referents years (1974-2012) checking how much has changed in the meantime. Thus it was concluded that the areas occupied in both urban and agricultural, had greater intensity.
