O uso da calculadora em sala de aula.

In order to analyze the difficulties and presented by students of the 1st Middle School, regarding the use of calculators in the classroom, in Mathematics tried to address the importance of this methodology, teaching for a better development and understanding with the use it in everyday life and especially the student. Since the calculator is a common tool in a student's life and also for logical reasoning, was used to contribute to the creativity not only with school work also in private and professional life, making the practice of mathematics education more meaningful for your use. To this end, this work was based on some conceptions de Souza (2009), Smola and Diniz (2001), Polya (1995), Dante (1989), D'Ambrosio (2001) in which they point Resolutions of Problems as a methodology and also the National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs). The major shortcoming I found in the students about using the calculator was the handling did not know where they use them correctly, as it may hurt them in the future, then tried to address the misuse and also sought to demonstrate the use correct, in addition, many teachers from the previous series did not let students use the calculator in the room, students commented that they only used the calculator in math activities activity when the teacher went home. The result was shocked, because using the calculator with the students to solve problems provided a great motivation for the students of State Elementary and High School Benjamin Maranhão, located in Araruna - PB.
