Torre de Hanói e função: a matemática pelo viés do jogo.

Our research had like subject the study of mathematical functions connected with the game Tower of Hanoi in order to investigate: How the game Tower of Hanoi like a playful activity can to contribute to work mathematical functions and, since the mathematical functions are contemplated in schoolroom once proposed in the National Curriculum Parameters giving the opportunity for the student establish a link with the conviviality. This way, we describe three specific subjects: Apply the game Tower of Hanoi in the 9º grade of basic education; Check with the good use if the game Tower of Hanoi the students developed abilities and skills to solve mathematical problems; and verify the student’s attitude with the use of the game Tower of Hanoi and the relationship established with the subject Mathematics. This research was supported by the authors like: Lara (2003) and Pais (1999) about the playful activity; Caraça (1989) and Pontes (1990) who clarified us about the concept of functions and; Dante (2011) who support us in the subjects associated with the resolution of mathematical problems. The results was satisfactory since it was possible to create a relationship with between the mathematics and the game Tower of Hanoi demonstrating as student dynamic and a good lesson plan would aid in the contest of good classes with the playful to response, this way, innovating the mathematical questions those consider frisky, hard and complicated, contributing to dissolve these myths and to turn better the teaching action on the mathematics like a subject. This research was applied for 9º grade of basic education in the John Kennedy State School, located in the Guarabira-PB city.
