Specifically this study seeks to understand the influence of these entities in the relationship that children have with their environment, and which elements in the community contribute to the importance of these entities for the children of Porto do Capim. Finally, lists these \"legends\" with the concept of Intangible Heritage and the legal frameworks that formalize the state duty to protect such property. This is a qualitative research, where the phenomenological method was used, along with the focus group technique for data collection. Data analysis was performed using the technique of encoding the content of the speeches and invocations of the participants.
