A produção espacial, a partir das relações socioeconômicas no “circuito inferior” da economia urbana, no bairro do grotão, João Pessoa (PB).

This study aimed to analyze the trade in "Grotão " district, located in the south of João Pessoa ( PB ) . Highlighting the socio-economic relations from the "Lower Circuit" of the economy in the study area . Sought to understand the process of occupation and the current dynamics of the agents that produce local trade, identifying the types of activities, to then discuss the production of urban space and the socio-spatial developments in Grotão. From the analysis of the trade, discuss the importance of the relationships that are established with the district and within the context of the city of João Pessoa. In this context, it was found that the "Grotão" has stood out with her "subsystem" commercial, for its influence on the distribution and marketing of goods, and the transformation of socio-spatial relations of the neighborhood and surrounding areas . Had the theoretical foundation of the theory of the urban economy of Santos (1979) circuits. For both the resources and procedures ranged from literature searches, interviews, questionnaires and analyze images from satellites the updated geographical area in question. It will be a descriptive analytical procedure.
