This thesis aimed to gather knowledge stratigraphic and paleoenvironmental existing quarries in the Roger in João Pessoa - PB. By analyzing the profiles 28 stratigraphic layers were identified Quarry 1 and 31 layers in the second quarry, so that lithostratigraphic profiles were generated through the layers. From a literature review on the subject and activities carried out in the field, it was found that the quarries studied corresponded to a Marine Platform Average ramp-shaped, not as deep seabed. A partir de uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a temática e atividades executadas em campo, verificou-se que as pedreiras estudadas correspondia a uma Plataforma Marinha Média em forma de rampa, fundo marinho não tão profundo.
