The national policy of creating protected areas and specifically the construction of urban parks is extremely important for the conservation and maintenance of environmental balance of green areas in urban centers. In this work it was decided to conduct a study to propose the creation of a management plan, as precedes the National System of Conservation Units (2000), for Cuiá City Park, located in the neighborhood of Valentina Figueiredo, in the city of João Pessoa-PB. For this work, was done bibliographic and cartographic surveys, technical visits at studding area, conducted in order to physical- biotic Park characterization. As well, it was used geoprocessing techniques that allowed generate different cartographic products inherent at the research.
