It was identified the tracing of the construction of the Eixo Leste in Paraíba, the municipalities beneficiaries, the water capacity of passage and available and existing structures of storage. This analysis occurred with support from the resources of Geotechnologies, specifically of Geographical Information Systems, Remote Sensing, Global Positioning Systems and field activity. It’s worrying that the first project presented with funds made available by Federal Government, foresees, in the foreground, the utilization of these waters in the littoral region, with Canal Acauã-Araçagi (secondary construction of PISF). However, for Agreste and Cariri paraibano, the only guarantee is the supply of some cities through existing adductor systems, can be the expansion these. The various versions and elusiveness of the State of Paraíba, with regard the delimitation for the receiving of transposed waters, types of ducts (canals, tunnels, adductor, etc), and capacity reserved for each segment and adaptation of the existing reservoirs, needed a comparison work and spatial analysis, that was run with the support of the resources of Geotechnologies.
