Sustentabilidade da água: uma abordagem na Rio +20.

The world in the search for solutions to save the planet earth. 40 years ago, that the pursuit of these solutions that met and has amassed several countries, heads of states to participate in United Nations Conferences. Thus, the most current of the Rio +20 Conference was held in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro from 13 to 22 June 2012, whose goal was to discuss the renewed political commitment to sustainable development, recomentando changes, mode is being used with the planet's natural resources. The Millennium Development Goal reached halve the proportion of people without access to safe drinking water in late 2010. The water a substance more abundant on planet earth where you can be found in three physical states: solid (glaciers), liquid (oceans and rivers), and gas (water vapor in the atmosphere). Furthermore, approximately 80% of our body is composed of water with being responsible for transporting nutrients in our body. Water is a natural element essential for plant and animal survival on planet Earth. But the Rio +20 Conference, reinforces the sustainability of the consumption of drinking water and ensure the right for all people. Sustainable development requires urgent and concrete actions that can only be achieved with a broad alliance of people, governments, civil society and private sector, all working together to ensure the future we want for present and future generations. The challenge is great, encountering several problems in the water element are: the, flood, drought, famine and human action. Every year that passes is becoming increasingly scarce, both by global warming caused by emissions of greenhouse gases emitted by human beings and, as the pollution of drinking water with sewage and urban. These issues involving the issue of water permeate and directly affects several other economic and social problems, the consequences are: food production, health (contraction of diseases), energy (large hydro) destroying the environment. Beyond simple measures that help decrease our environment financial expenditures, for example, water recycling, either with respect to a simple closing of the tap when wash the dishes, and use of rainwater, of course, small actions economy can greatly aid in the preservation of water and work with a model of sustainability that must be followed in order to have a better life.
