The cactus can be associated with different forage in diets for lactating cows, however, enriched with urea plus palm, elephant grass, corn straw, hay aerial part of cassava or sugar cane bagasse in natura have higher (P <0.05) milk yield 5.24, 6.09, 4.76 and 4.62 kg, respectively, compared with those fed palm enriched with urea plus sugar cane bagasse hydrolyzate with an average production of 4.04 kg, not (P> 0.05) having, however variation for components of milk.
