Uso e ocupação do solo e perspectivas turísticas do território do Porto do Capim, Varadouro, João Pessoa – PB.

The meaning of Porto do Capim comes from Paraíba’s c o n q u e rage, when the place had a task of drifting the product ion and permit the entering of the products in the city. Until nowadays , has suffered a lot of change in its lands cape, however over keeping its strategic meaning to the memory, culture, patrimony and identity of João Pessoa. Recently, reliving public politics brought projects of changes in the places, removing the rivers to the building of ecologic parks in the territory, being a reason to an intense and wide discussion, having on sight the tipofily, the feeling of identity with the space, of the population in face with the studied territory. This work looks for an approach the meaning of Porto do Capim in the geographic, historic and, for al l that it envolves, touristic point s of view. Differents aspects linked to this territory will be studied, like culture, patrimony, history and environment , settled down on fundamental geographic concepts approached.
