The research allowed to perform an analysis of the relationship between human actions and environmental conditions of these beaches. Cabedelo located in the eastern portion of the state of Paraíba, being conurbado with capital João Pessoa. It has 15 km stretch of beach where the beaches are found Intermares, Ponta de Campina, Prais do poço, Camboinha I, II and III, Formosa, Areia Dourada, Ponta de Matos and Miramar. There are records of coastal erosion on the beaches of Cabedelo, since 1957, when few homes had already been partially destroyed by marine action. From the methodological point of view, the survey was developed based on literature surveys and collection of primary data through field work with the help of checklists control lists (field), interviews with residents and local merchants. The field work was conducted on predetermined days according to the tide tables for the port of Cabedelo. Through research it was possible to identify a contrast between well-maintained beaches and other eroded, and the anthropic an element that directly influenced the environmental quality of these beaches. The beaches are Poço and Camboinha that have more homes on land belonging to the Union, therefore, are closer to the sea than they should, and are therefore affected by strong waves at high tides.
