The metropolitan areas through its cities have attracted a high number of population in the search for jobs, housing, services and even leisure. On the other hand, the absence of public policies aggregated sometimes the lack of areas for housing increases housing deficit, which impairs the absorption of this tariff. From these facts, the population ends up occupying areas inadequate housing, as well as the preservation and riparian areas, thus causing environmental degradation. The object of this work was to study the Casa Branca Community, located in the Bayeux. Community socioeconomic questionnaires were applied and from these created a Geographic Information System in order to assist in the decision-making process in order to identify solutions and minimize the problems encountered in the Community and stabilize the relation Community × Environment.
