Levantamento do quadro natural do Município de Mamanguape - PB.

The historiographical literature gives great prominence to physical environment's conditions as determinants factors to cities' origins. In this sense, the region that now comprises the city of Mamanguape gathers a set of physical characteristics that favored to its origins and historical development. In view of the matter of landscape aspects to study area, this paper aims to perform the lifting of the natural framework, listing its particularities. For this purpose, we adopted the systems theory as guiding instrument and the bibliographic and cartographic research, fieldwork and comparison of informations as methodology. The study made possible the comprehension of the physical environment aspects of the study area, as well as provided a deeper understanding of the resources that it has.
