The area chosen for the study was the Forest of Jacarapé State Park, a conservation use full guided by restrictions on its use and occupancy, which should dominate the preservation of its natural resources and landscapes, allowing only some indirect uses which are provided for in the Federal Law No. 9.985/2000. The State Park is located in the southern portion of the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba, between the river Jacarapé, north, and Praia do Sol in the south. The purpose of the study, the principle is to characterize the ecodynamics Conservation Unit and then an analysis of territorial occupation. The methodological guidance was based on the method proposed by geossistêmico Bertrand (1972) and landscape dynamics (Tricart, 1977). From the geomorphological point of view, the area in question is on the Coastal Lowlands formed at the eastern edge of beaches, mangroves, dunes and fluvial-marine plains and plateaus in the Netherlands Coastal geomorphology another subdivision with altitudes ranging between 10 and 200 meters. Under paragraph 1, Article 11 of Law no. 9985 houses built in the park Jacarapé occupations are irregular and should be condemned to alleviate the problems caused in the environment, especially on the beach and mangrove river Jacarapé.
