Therefore, the work was developed through a qualitative research. Initially we made a note of science lessons in school mentioned, with students from 6th to 9th grade, in the afternoon. Then applied a questionnaire to the teacher and the students, who signed a consent form. As the survey results, we had very favorable responses to the use of disposable resources in science education. However, through the data collected, it was observed that these resources are not used in the discipline under study, although the school has already carried out a project with such materials. In this paper we also viable pedagogical practices to a more contextualized science education to the environment.
