O ensino de divisão com números naturais pela metodologia da resolução de problemas: aspectos teóricos.

This work focus on questions, discussions and reflections on teaching division with Natural Numbers in year 6 of primary education by the Solving Problems methodology with the intention to investigate and identify the guidelines and proposed activities for this content. The type of research chosen for the development of this study was an exploratory research and bibliographic, since information was collected in the National Curriculum Parameters (NCP) for the 3rd and 4th cycles of elementary school, in the textbooks adopted in the 6th year in the city Itaporanga of references and theoretical researchers in this subject as Polya (1995), Dante (2000) and others. Based on the theoretical framework has been identified within the content Numbers and Operations, in which content is inserted regarding the research, concepts, procedures, attitudes, assessment criteria and learning difficulties in this field. From the study was prepared a lesson plan to address the contents of a combined Natural Numbers in a class of Year 6, considering the guidelines of how the teacher should work in the environment of the classroom observing the classification problems, steps forward and to solve the problem. Through research, it was possible discover why the resolution of problems should be the central thrust of the teaching and learning of mathematics.
