Abstract
dc:description.abstractBibliotherapy emphasizes selected as program activities involving materials and readings planned, conducted and controlled as a treatment under medical guidance for emotional and behavioral problems, and should be administered by a trained librarian in accordance with the proposals and prescribed purposes. Analyzes how Bibliotherapy emerges in speeches and actions of students and teachers of the Undergraduate Library UFPB working in Project Bem-Te-Vi. Is a participatory research with a qualitative and quantitative approach, whose instrument of data collection was the questionnaire with project members Bem-Te-Vi, developed at Hospital Napoleon Laureano in João Pessoa-PB. The data were grouped into categories and analyzed. The analysis of the collected data and the results are shown by graphs and tables. Concludes that the Bibliotherapy is understood by the subjects, as a process that excites, inspires, stimulates knowledge and makes you think / create and do what it takes to see that the Bibliotherapy involves discoveries and inventions that allow people to withdraw from the its reality to experience others' experience. For the subjects bibliotherapy instituted a discursive field that enabled articulate the theory and practice reading with proposals that helped improve the quality of life and well-being of the children involved in the project extension Bem-Te-Vi, a partnership between UFPB / HNL.
