Emphasizes the Bibliotherapy as a viable resource to the formation of the individual and their (trans) formations life, given that much to talk about the therapeutic benefits of reading. Assumes that bibliotherapy uses information resources (reading, storytelling, drawings, play activities) and that the information contained in these resources, when assimilated, transformed into knowledge that can change the shape and the way to be in the world of people, re-educating them and adapting them to their educational and socio-cultural context. Aims to analyze the importance of bibliotherapy in the treatment of childhood cancer, with regard to improving the patient's quality of life and hospital humanization focused on biblioterapêuticas activities of the Bem-Te-Vi Project developed in HNL, for teachers and students of Library Science UFPB, and its contribution to the mental well-being of children and young people struggling against cancer. The methodological approach consists of an exploratory research, anchored in the literature and participant observation, life history, with the data collection instruments to interview and field diary. It follows that the practical library developed in HNL besides having provided moments of relaxation and joy to patients, has proved useful in the process of socialization and hospitalization of patients admitted in this hospital and in library-/ patient / nursing.","abstract_html":"Emphasizes the importance of bibliotherapy as an adjunct in the treatment of cancerizadas, inner children in Hospital Napoleon Laureano (HNL), in João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil, with regard to the humanization process hospitalization.
