Satisfação dos usuários da biblioteca do polo presencial da UFPB no município de Mari/PB

The research has the purpose to analyze the use and informal needs of the UFPB Virtual Presence Pole Library in Mari/PB District. The theorist referential mentions about the users study, information necessity and universitarian library. The research is of descriptive and exploratory manner and presents quantitative and qualitative touch. The information collect instrument was the questionnaire with open and closed questions. The population studied is composed by 79 (seventy nine) students, 8 (eight) presence tutors, 1 (one) coordinator, 2 (two) secretariat assistants and 1 (one) technical support assistant. The information indicates that most of the users are UFPB Virtual students, female, from 20 to 29 years old. About the informational necessities and services, the database shows that the users go to the library to their research and that even with reservation they are satisfied with the library. It’s concluded that the library needs to designate a librarian to manage the library about its services and products; to increase the build space; to implement educational program to the users beyond speech, seminaries and directed visits; employees training; to realize activities for tutors encouraging the use of the library informational resources; marketing actions to the publicizing of its services and maintain a periodic evaluation to accompany the user’s and community’s needs about the library use.
