Tecnologia RFID: contribuições de uso/aplicação em Unidades de Informação (Bibliotecas)

The work covers a technology used in several areas, location of people, objects and animals: RFID (radio frequency identification). However, this outbreak is to present the contributions of technology for libraries, libraries that are based on innovation implemented in their daily lives, which enhances the speed and security of information is questionable what the real benefits of RFID to improve procedures in an information unit (library). Based on available data on questionnaires answered by library managers in the Southeast region of Brazil, it became possible to provide the satisfaction of working with a technology that saves the reader's time, valuing even more work and time of all employees of units of information.
