Necessidades e uso de informação: um estudo com os alunos da Faculdade de Formação de Professores de Goiana

Knowing the user's information and set goals to meet your needs is no easy task, if the subject is the university library, compound the difficulties. To alleviate this problem is that the study was conducted involving users of the University Library John Suassuna Melo's nephew FFPG, aiming to analyze the needs and information use of pupils in the 2nd period of the course of Arts Faculty Training of Teachers of Goiás . Study a sample of 28 users. For data collection a questionnaire was used. The analyzed data allowed the verification of the musical needs and library use. It was clear the important points, among them: the students mostly young, and unmarried marital status, with a predominance of the state of Pernambuco, as are fresh out of high school, who mostly studies and works, as the library several are aspects that deserve attention, such as lighting, introduction of new technologies, small number of copies, updating the collection. We conclude that the library must strive to meet the real needs of its users. To improve the services offered to its users, And to consolidade the effective use of the Library.
