The journals are the most preferred way that researchers disseminate the results of their study to the scientific community. This research has a descriptive exploratory nature and aims to analyze the scientific production about the Users Study subject published in six electronic journals in Information Science. The implemented methodology included a literature survey on the Internet in a quantitative and qualitative approach. The journals researched were chosen because they are titles that fit in standard evaluation A1 and B1 Qualis / CAPES. The survey results showed 30 articles dealing with the Users Study, which were mapped in a universe of 717 articles published in journals during the period of 2009-2013. It was identified many types of studies among the articles mapped: use studies, search studies and information needs, studies of information behavior and usability. The analysis results are presented in graphs and tables.
