Therefore, the theoretical background covered the aspects of the evolutionary aspects of the managerial activity and its current complexity, the logic of competences and skills assigned to the contemporary manager, the development of skills through the managerial practice and the manager’s learning process, the role of a junior company in the professional qualification of undergraduate students and the practical experience of management in the Junior Companies environments. The methodological procedures focused on the adoption of a basic qualitative approach, made possible by conducting individual interviews with a semi-structured script and audio recording. In total, six members were interviewed, including a current director and five former directors with a minimum six-month period of management experience as director. After being transcribed, the interviews were submitted to a content analysis divided into three stages: pre-analysis, material exploration and results treatment and inference and interpretation. This process culminated in the development of an analytical framework divided into three major themes that corresponded each to a specific research objective. Each theme has also generated categories and subcategories of meaning (eighteen categories and fifty-six subcategories in total). The survey results indicate that managerial practical experience in the context of a junior company enables the development of managerial skills, either through their own daily activities, submission to situations that require specific skills or through the development of practices or professional qualification provided by the Junior Company Movement.","abstract_html":"The present study aimed to analyze the development of managerial skills learned from practical managerial experiences lived by students participating in the Junior Company of business administration at Federal University of Paraíba.
