dc:description.abstractThe Leadership is a social construction tool, in which the leaders or managers interact with their team. The style of these interactions is essential to achieve goals and meet the expectations of the organizations for which they perform their duties. In the segment of the real estate market is no different. And the practice of leadership styles has been a key tool for business sustainability. The purpose of this job is to develop a case study, through a literature and field research about the practices and leadership styles adopted by a real estate manager, according to the models of leadership practice that will be presented, and the current situation the real estate market of the city of João Pessoa – PB, focusing on the results obtained by the company and the satisfaction level of leaders and followers. We seek to further analyze the process of leadership theories regarding motivation in work teams and diagnose the results of motivational strategies on their effects on the chosen company. For this, we divided the work in three stages. In the first stage, we see the concepts and definitions of Leadership, motivation and his theories, and he passed through the internal marketing focused on real estate. In the second stage, we present the data collected in the field research and finally, in the last step, we analyze and confront the data gathered from the perspective of practice and leadership styles adopted by the manager.
